A group of Turkmen judokas arrived to the XIX Asian Summer Games in China

On September 21, a team of Turkmen judoists arrived in Hangzhou to participate in the XIX Asian Summer Games. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

In preparation for the Asian Games, Turkmen athletes spent the last 1.5 months at competitions and training camps in Zagreb, Valencia, Tashkent and Baku. The national judo team of Turkmenistan included 8 athletes - four men and four women.

The Turkmen delegation of judoists is headed by the head coach of the cadet and junior national team Tatyana Vidyasova and head coach of the national team Kazuhiko Tokuno. The judo competitions will start on September 24.

Turkmenistan will be represented at the Asian Games in other sports, including 3x3 basketball, boxing, freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling, jiu-jitsu, judo, Kurash wrestling, karate, track and field, swimming, weightlifting and wushu.
