Turkmen delegation takes part in the Caspian Media Forum-2023

The VIII "Caspian Media Forum - 2023" was opened in Astrakhan on September 18 with the participation of a delegation from Turkmenistan. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

Delegations from Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation are participating in the forum. The theme of this forum is "Public Diplomacy and Social Media as a Factor of Rapprochement of Peoples". Representatives from Belarus, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan are participating as observers.

On September 19, on the margins of the forum the theme "The Role of Mass Media in Strengthening Mutual Understanding and Cooperation among the Caspian Region Countries" was discussed. It was noted that the Russian Federation pays special attention to cooperation with Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan within the framework of the development of the North-South ITC.
