The first competitions on educational robotics were held in the capital of Turkmenistan with the assistance of UNICEF and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan. This is reported in the press release of UNICEF and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
The two-day tournament was held on September 23-24 on the basis of the capital's school No. 97. The aim of the competition was to raise awareness of the educational benefits of robotics among the teaching staff and students and motivate the younger generation to further study this area.
Children from all regions of the country took part in competitions in six different categories. The best projects were awarded prizes and gifts, including TV sets, tablets, robotics kits and smart watches. The high level of interest in the competition confirmed the younger generation's desire to learn about technological innovations.
