The 15th regular meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Iranian Commission on Customs, Consular and Border Affairs was held on Monday, February 6. This is reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Turkmenistan.
The meeting was attended by representatives of specialized agencies and ministries. The delegation of Turkmenistan was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Vepa Hajiyev. The Iranian delegation was headed by Alireza Bikdeli, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran for Consular and Parliamentary Affairs.
In the course of the meeting, the sides touched upon the implementation of the bilateral agreements reached during the previous meeting of the Commission held in Tehran in 2019. The sides emphasized the need for strict compliance with the agreements reached.
