IMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a conference in honor of the Day of Diplomatic Worker

A solemn conference in honor of the Day of Diplomatic Worker of Turkmenistan was held today at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. This was reported by the TurkmenPortal online publication.

The conference was attended by heads and staff of the diplomatic service of Turkmenistan, representatives of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Turkmenistan, teachers and students of higher educational institutions of the country.

The event touched upon topical issues of the global agenda and the country's role in the formation and development of international cooperation. The discussions also touched upon the main aspect of the foreign policy "Dialogue - guarantee of peace". It was emphasized that over the years of independence Turkmenistan has formed a foreign policy based on the principles of neutrality and openness to international cooperation.
