The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Seoul hosted a reception in honor of the 300th anniversary of Makhtumkuli Fraghi

On October 30, an official reception dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Turkmen poet and thinker Makhtumkuli Fraghi and the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence was held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in the Korean capital Seoul. This is reported by the Internet edition "Westiabad."

The event was attended by diplomatic representatives of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Korea, Turkmen students studying in Seoul, employees of various government agencies and ministries of the two countries, as well as journalists. Deputy Foreign Minister Kim Tae-jin was the guest of honor at the reception.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Korea Begench Durdyev, speaking at the event, noted the importance of the literary heritage of Makhtumkuli Fraghi around the world.
