Tanryberdy Ataev, a student of the directing faculty of the Turkmen State Institute of Culture, has become the director of the production based on the epic "Oguznama" interpreted by playwright Juma Khudaygulyev. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The play "Shohleli Khatyn" tells about a young woman who married a khan, but did not forget her feelings for his son Kory Tegin. This situation could have become fatal and led to the death of the khan's son, if not for a wise vizier and a cup of fragrant Chinese tea.

Sakhra Kurbanova, Yazmurat Allaberdyev, Ibragim Durdyev, students of the acting and directing faculties of the Turkmen Culture Institute are in the main roles.

The stage design in the spirit of laconic minimalism was made by the stage designer Dunyagozel Durdyeva.
