"Ashgabat City Telephone Network" will increase Internet speed and lower tariffs from March 1

OASHT AshGTS will increase the speed of Internet connection from March 1, 2023, as well as reduce some tariffs for communication services. This is reported on the official website of the company agts.tv.

Improvement of the quality of services against the background of reduction of tariff plans cost is carried out within the framework of the policy of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on development of the country's economy in the digital direction.

According to the new tariffs, now for 1 Mbps internet speed the tariff fee is set at 150 TMT, for 2 Mbps connection speed the cost is set at 180 TMT, for 4 Mbps speed - 230 TMT. The maximum internet speed from "AshGTS" OAZT will be 6 Mbps at a tariff of 280 TMT.

Subscribers who previously received Internet connection of 150 Kbps at the tariff of 150 TMT will be automatically transferred to the tariff with the speed of 1 Mb/s. Subscribers who were receiving service with Internet speed of 2 Mbps at the tariff of 200 TMT will now use the same service at 180 TMT, the remaining amount will be credited to the advance deposit.
