Turkmenistan to launch production of cyber threat protection products

Turkmenistan's Tehno Merkez Joint Stock Company will launch production of servers and other means designed to protect against cyber threats. This is reported by the Internet edition Asmannews.

In addition, the enterprise plans to provide maintenance and technical support of server devices and launch production of equipment for "smart home" and "smart city" systems. This information was provided by the Director General of the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers M. Chakyev during the meeting of the Government of Turkmenistan on July 26.

According to Chakyev, support for small and medium-sized businesses operating in the IT sphere will contribute to the implementation of the State Program for the Development of Digital Economy of Turkmenistan for 2021-2025. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the proposal and gave relevant instructions.
