Excursion to Ashgabat airport organized for orphans in Turkmenistan

The Turkmenhovayollary Agency jointly with UNICEF organized an excursion to the air terminal of Ashgabat International Airport and the Agency's training school for the children from the Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Orphans' Palace on International Children's Day. The children were familiarized with the history of civil Turkmen aviation. They had an opportunity to board an airplane, visited the rescue and fire services, visited the runway. The children tested simulators of aviation equipment, studied the process of evacuation in case of emergency.

The excursion was conducted within the framework of the program of the Ministry of Education of the country to introduce the younger generation to professions in the spheres of natural sciences, technology, engineering and mathematics.
