Turkmen-Qatar political consultations held in Doha

Consultations between the foreign ministries of Turkmenistan and the State of Qatar were held in Doha on June 3. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The Turkmen side was represented at the political consultations by Deputy Foreign Minister Ahmet Gurbanov, while the delegation of the State of Qatar was headed by State Minister of Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al-Muraihi.

During the meeting the current situation of interstate partnership and further prospects for its strengthening were discussed. High potential of cooperation in the spheres of investment, tourism, energy, oil and gas industry was noted.

The sides emphasized the special importance of the activities of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation. Emphasis was placed on the need to intensify interaction between the parliamentarians of the two countries and expand contacts at the highest and highest levels.
