A solemn event dedicated to Father's Day in the Islamic Republic of Iran was held at the IRI Cultural Center in the Turkmen capital. This is reported by the Internet edition AsmanNews.
The event was attended by Iranian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ali Mojtaba Rouzbehani, representatives of the Iranian diplomatic mission in Ashgabat, students and media representatives. Head of the Cultural Center Ebrahim Parviz made a welcoming speech. He noted the significance of Father's Day in society, family and in bringing up children.
Iranian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ali Mojtaba Rouzbahani also addressed the audience. He spoke about the deep traditions of this holiday, which is celebrated on the birthday of Hezreti Ali. The Iranian diplomat also emphasized the commonality of the value system of the peoples of Iran and Turkmenistan, in which reverence for elders and family traditions have a great place.
