The final of the vocal contest "Shining Star of the Year" was held in the Trade Complex of Arkadag city. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
The holding of creative contests in Turkmenistan promotes the creative activity of young people, the identification of young talents and the professional development of young performers. The "Shining Star of the Year" contest was organized by the Ministry of Culture together with the State Committee on Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography and the Central Council of the Makhtumkuli Youth Organization of Turkmenistan.
Young performers aged 17 to 35 from all regions of the country took part in the contest. TV viewers and radio listeners participated in the voting via SMS and phone calls.
The winner of the main prize of the competition was Bahar Annaeva, who received a passing Cup and a memorable gift. The Grand Prix winners were awarded certificates and gifts.
