A meeting with the Ambassador of Sweden was held in Turkmenistan

Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova held talks with Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to the country (with residence in Stockholm) Thomas Danestad in Ashgabat on Thursday, December 12. This is reported on the website Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the interlocutors emphasized the effective development of bilateral partnership relations between the two countries in trade-economic and political-diplomatic spheres.

The parties emphasized the importance of political consultations between Sweden and Turkmenistan, which were held in September 2024. The expediency of repeating this effective experience was noted.

During the meeting, the diplomats also exchanged views on topical issues related to the development of cultural and humanitarian cooperation. Various initiatives were considered in this area.
