The Decree on wage increase by 10% started to take effect in Turkmenistan

On January 1, 2024, the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on increasing by 101% the salaries of employees of budget-funded institutions, self-financing enterprises and public associations, pensions and state benefits, scholarships of students and trainees came into force. This is reported by Turkmenportal.com.

According to the Presidential Decree, the minimum pension of WWII participants will now be 2070 manat per month, the minimum pension of spouses of WWII participants and home front workers will be 605 manat, the prime rate for determining pensions will be 500 manat, the rate for calculating state benefits will be 470 manat. In addition, the minimum wage is set by the Presidential Decree at 1280 manat.
