The "Human Rights School for Youth with Disabilities" will be launched in Turkmenistan

The UN Office is launching a series of trainings "Human Rights School for young people with disabilities" in Turkmenistan. This is reported on the Orient news website.

The project aims to integrate people with disabilities into society. The objectives of the project are to ensure unhindered inclusion of persons with disabilities in society by removing all kinds of barriers, as well as to develop human rights programs.

The program of the School includes three three-day workshops, during which young people will be introduced to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Young people will receive knowledge and skills to integrate people with disabilities into society. As a result of the trainings, participants will be able to develop initiatives to promote the rights of people with disabilities.

The trainings will last from April to October this year, and 16 candidates with various disabilities will be selected to participate.
