The Exhibition Center of Fine Arts of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan has opened an exhibition of works by Balkan artists. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
Over 300 works by 31 artists of the Balkan velayat are on display. The exhibition collection included landscapes, portraits, tapestries, paintings made on sheepskins, sculptures, jewelry and ceramic exhibits.
Among the paintings that the guests remembered was the work of Amangeldy Khydyrov, who painted a portrait of Turkmen composer Nury Halmamedov against the background of a bright sky. Fans of painting did not ignore the work of Yolmammet Annaev, who depicted Turkmen thinker Makhtumkuli Fraghi, surrounding the white turban and light face of the poet with a black background for a bright contrast. The works "Three Friends" and "Birthday" by artist Myahriban Begendjeva, giving bright memories of childhood, were of no less interest to the visitors of the exhibition.
