Turkmenistan implements programs to preserve flora and fauna of the country

During the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, T. Atakhallyev presented a report on the progress of work in the agro-industrial complex and nature protection. This was reported by the Internet publication "TurkmenPortal".

The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers reported on the preparation for sowing cotton and care of wheat crops. He stressed that the country is currently implementing programs to preserve and study the country's flora and fauna.
Experiments on cultivation of rare plants, including Turkmen juniper, dagdan tree, pistachio trees and other plant species are conducted in the reserves of the Ministry of Environmental Protection.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to strengthen control over efficient use of water resources, take measures to ensure timely implementation of agro-technical measures and control over preservation of the ecological system.
