A meeting of foreign specialists and responsible museum workers took place in Turkmenistan

Representatives of San Antonio University and New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art have arrived in Turkmenistan on a working visit to discuss issues related to archeological excavations in Mary province and restoration of art monuments. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The meeting of foreign specialists with representatives of the country's museums was held in the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan. According to the agreement signed earlier, archaeological excavations will continue at the monuments of Dandanakan and Kushmeikhan.

The parties also discussed the upcoming work on archaeological monuments and the Khudaynazar mausoleum located near Bayramali. The conference was attended by specialists from the USA, Germany, Great Britain, Turkmenistan, as well as media representatives.
