Turkmen theater "ArtIst" took part in the opening of the festival "Meetings in Russia"

The 25th International Festival of Russian Theatres "Meetings in Russia" organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation was opened in St. Petersburg. Turkmen theater "Artist" took part in the opening ceremony of the festival. This was reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The festival is timed to the 200th anniversary of Russian playwright Alexander Ostrovsky. Ashgabat's "ArtIst" takes part in this festival for the first time. The theater troupe will show the audience the play "Profitable Place".

The performance of the group under the direction of Igor Annaklychev can be seen on April 10 at 19.00 on the Grand Stage of the theater "Baltic House".

In addition to the Turkmen group, theater groups from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Abkhazia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus and Russia will perform in St. Petersburg. The festival will last until April 16.
