Turkmenistan-UN meeting to be held in Ashgabat

The meeting of the Strategic Advisory Council "Turkmenistan - United Nations" will be held in the Turkmen capital, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov said at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, which was held on November 29, 2024. This is reported by the Internet resource "Westiabad."

The "Turkmenistan-UN" meeting will consider topical issues of cooperation with the Organization, including combating the effects of climate change, "green" energy and sustainable development. It is planned to pay close attention at the meeting to the projects of cooperation with the UN until 2030.

Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov reiterated the importance of the upcoming meeting and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to take measures to prepare for it.
