On November 28 this year, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted talks between Myahri Byashimova, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, and Bakyt Jusupov, Coordinator for Economic and Environmental Issues of the OSCE. The meeting discussed topical issues of co-operation between Turkmenistan and the OSCE in the economic and environmental dimension. The Co-ordinator noted that Turkmenistan was engaged in a constructive dialogue with the Organization, and the importance of implementing joint programmes and projects in this area was noted.
In addition, they discussed further areas of cooperation and possibilities of creating new forms of interaction in such areas as environmental and energy security, as well as transportation interconnectivity of different countries and regions.
