"Remote banking" for individuals is being introduced in Turkmenistan

At a meeting of the Government of Turkmenistan, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the proposal of Deputy Prime Minister H. Geldimiradov to put into operation the "Remote Banking" system for individuals. This was reported by the Internet publication "TurkmenPortal".

The new system will allow citizens to make a wide range of non-cash payments in a prompt manner. In accordance with the "Program of the President of Turkmenistan on socio-economic development of the country for 2019-2025" and the "State Program on development of digital economy of Turkmenistan for 2021-2025", digital systems are being actively introduced in different spheres of the national economy, the list of electronic services and payment systems is being expanded and the system of remote banking services is being improved.
