On May 10, during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Deputy Prime Minister B. Annamammedov presented a report on the full completion of construction of the monument to Makhtumkuli Fraghi in preparation for the upcoming festive events in honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the Turkmen poet. According to the Deputy Prime Minister's report, monuments to prominent foreign writers and poets have been installed in the territory of the cultural and park zone "Makhtumkuli Fraghi". Deputy Prime Minister also noted that in preparation for the festive events the work on planting greenery in parks and squares of Ashgabat, festive decoration and decoration of the city, installation of banners, placement of various thematic symbols and mottos is underway.
Summarizing the Deputy Prime Minister's report, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed him to continue work on decorating the capital in honor of the 300th anniversary of the Turkmen classic.
