Turkmen schools ring the first bell

The new 2024-2025 school year started in all Turkmen schools on September 1 with the first bell ringing. This is reported by the Internet edition "TurkmenPortal.

The celebration of the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth in Turkmenistan began with a ceremony of laying flowers at the Independence Monument and monuments to Berdimuhamed Annaev erected at the Berdimuhamed Annaev Pedagogical Secondary Vocational School in the town of Arkadag and Secondary School No. 27 in the village of Yzgant, Geoktepe district, Ahal province.

In his congratulatory address heard at the ceremonial rulers, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished schoolchildren and students success in their studies and new discoveries. The first lesson in Turkmen schools was dedicated to the country's motto of the year "Makhtumkuli Fraghi's Cluster of Mind" and the upcoming Independence Day of Turkmenistan.
