A forum on cooperation with foreign partners was held at Turkmenistan's MUNiG university

A meeting with representatives of leading universities of Italy, Malaysia, UAE, Austria, Korea, Germany, Russia, Romania and Uzbekistan was held at the Y. Kakaev International Turkmenistan University of Oil and Gas on March 29, the Neutral Turkmenistan daily newspaper reported.

The purpose of the forum was to strengthen and expand the partnership of MUNiG with prestigious foreign universities and foreign companies, with which the university has previously concluded a number of contracts and agreements.

During the meeting, the rector of the International University of Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan familiarized the guests with the achievements of the university. MUNiG entered the rankings "THE World University Ranking" and "THE Impact Ranking", and in 2024 is to become a member of the Asian Association of Universities.

One of the most important topics of the forum was the upcoming first open international student Olympiad in informatics, which will be held on April 19 of this year on the platform of the Moodle university. Currently, the leading specialists of the country are engaged in organizing this platform.
