The senior lecturer and head of the Department "History of Music" of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after M. Kulibayev. Bakhargul Yakubova, a famous art historian of Turkmenistan, became the winner of the international research competition, which was held in the Russian city of Penza. This contest is held annually, gathering participants from a dozen countries. In 2022, the intellectual competition was held for the 38th time.
Bahargul Yakubova submitted a scientific work on the Dutar, a national Turkmen instrument, which last year was included in the UNESCO list of intangible heritage. The work of the Turkmen teacher won first place in the category "Art History" and will be included in the collection of scientific works, which is published annually at the end of the research competition.
