A delegation from the Uzbek National Institute of Metrology will pay a working visit to the Main Reference Center of Turkmenistan. The working meeting with Turkmen colleagues will be held from March 4 to 8 this year within the framework of the project of the German Institute of Physics and Technology RTV "Strengthening the quality infrastructure in Central Asian countries. Earlier interlaboratory comparisons between the national metrology institutes of Central Asian countries in the field of glass liquid thermometers, calibration of scales according to the approved project have already been carried out.
Interlaboratory comparisons are necessary for international accreditation of the Main State Reference Center of Turkmenistan in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO/IEC 17025.
The State Reference Center of Turkmenistan carries out work on preparation for calibration of measuring instruments used in accredited laboratories and certified enterprises.
