Islamabad, July 29 - Arzuw.news. The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad hosted a meeting with a high-ranking Pakistani politician and head of Pakistan's Diplomatic Friendship Group Muhammad Ali Durrani. Arzuw.news reports with reference to the press service of the Embassy.
The Turkmen side familiarized the guest with the foreign policy concept of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan, as well as presented trade and economic opportunities and investment potential of the country.
Turkmenistan expressed interest in further strengthening cooperation and expanding trade and economic relations with Pakistan. The participants of the meeting discussed possible steps to expand interaction between the business communities of the two countries.
Among the proposed formats of cooperation are joint exhibitions, exchange of business delegations, organization of investment forums and other mechanisms for the development of economic ties.
Following the talks, the sides reaffirmed mutual interest in developing bilateral dialog and strengthening partnership relations between Turkmenistan and Pakistan.
