Turkmenistan hosted a conference on the 2024 motto

Today, the conference "Makhtumkuli - the unquenchable light of the people" was held at the Historical and Local History Museum of Lebap province. An exhibition dedicated to the declaration of the year 2024 in Turkmenistan as the year of "Makhtumkuli Fraghi's Treasure of Mind" was also organized. This is reported by the online edition of "Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly".

The participants of the conference noted that the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli Fraghi in 2024 at the international level will contribute to the study of the literary heritage of Makhtumkuli, scientific research, attracting the public to the poetry and philosophy of the great thinker of the East.

The thematic exhibition presented museum exhibits and scientific works telling about the epoch of the great poet and devoted to his work.
