Turkmenistan continues restoration works on the territory of the historical fortress of Nisa - the ancient capital of the Parthian kingdom. According to the news program Watan, complex works on conservation and reconstruction of the preserved buildings of the fortress are currently underway. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was personally convinced of this during today's helicopter tour of the capital region.
Specialists conduct a thorough inspection of the structures, strengthen the walls, and restore the historical appearance of the buildings. Special attention is paid to the preservation of unique frescoes and architectural details of the monument.
The restoration of the Nisa Fortress is of great historical and cultural significance both for Turkmenistan and the entire region. The complex of structures is a valuable evidence of the great past of the Turkmen people and its ancient states. The works are aimed at the maximum preservation of this monument for posterity.
