An international conference on ecology was held in the new city of Turkmenistan

On July 3, an international conference "Arkadag City - ecologically safe land of beautiful nature" was held in the city of Arkadag. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The forum was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers, supervising the sphere of agro-industrial complex of the country, environmental and other relevant agencies, representatives of universities, international and regional organizations.

The conference touched upon the issues of improving environmental legislation, cooperation between Turkmenistan and international organizations in the environmental sphere, measures to adapt and counteract the effects of climate change, combating desertification, environmental well-being, cultivation of environmentally friendly products.
