Turkmenistan's Foreign Ministry held a meeting with the Uzbek delegation

Today, Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov held a meeting with Deputy Secretary of the Security Council under the President of Uzbekistan, Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan on foreign policy issues Abdulaziz Kamilov. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The Uzbek delegation arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the conference "Dialogue - Guarantee of Peace".
During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state of Turkmen-Uzbek cooperation and prospects for its development in the political-diplomatic, cultural-humanitarian and trade-economic spheres.

It was noted that contacts and visits at the highest level are of special importance in the context of strengthening political and diplomatic ties. The sides noted the similarity of positions on issues related to security, stability in the region and socio-economic development.
