The II International Biology Olympiad was held at the Turkmen Medical University

The second International Internet Olympiad in biology among students of Turkmen and foreign universities was held at the M. Garryev State Medical University. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

According to the results of the Olympiad, 18 winners, 28 winners of second places and 33 students awarded with third places were announced. Of the total number of winners, 13 were students of the organizing university and TSU named after Makhtumkuli.

The jury consisted of professors and teachers of Turkmen and foreign universities. About 400 students from the USA, Canada, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, Austria, Romania, Cyprus, UAE, India, Iran, Turkey, South Korea, Malaysia, Russia, Belarus, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and a number of other countries took part in the intellectual contest.
