The Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan announced the privatization of 57 state-owned objects by the results of the auction. Their initial value will be more than 54 million 504 thousand manat.
The objects of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, the Agency "Turkmenavtouglary", the State Association "Turkmenhaly", the State Concern "Turkmengaz", the governors of Lebap and Mary provinces were offered for sale under the conditions of competitive trade.
Acceptance and registration of applications for the bidding, which will be held on March 25, are held in the building of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan and will be completed 24 hours before the auction. The auction will be held there as well.
Foreign legal entities as well as international organizations established in accordance with the legislation of foreign countries may also participate in the bidding, provided that the relevant opinion of the Agency for Protection of Economy from Risks under the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan is available.
The main part of the objects to be privatized belongs to the governor of Lebap velayat. Their total value starts from 21 million 594 thousand manats. All of these objects of construction and installation sphere are buildings which were built before 1990.
The Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan put up for auction the stores in the residential complex Gurtly in the Buzmein district of Ashgabat. The total cost of these facilities, built in 2017, starts at 10 million 332 thousand manats.
The Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations will auction about 30 objects in Balkan, Lebap, Dashoguz and Mary provinces. Most of them belong to the trade-industrial sector and the starting price will start from 11 million 104 thousand manats.
Three cattle farms belonging to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection are also to be privatized at the auction.
