Turkmen performance "Eternal Legends" opened the VII International Festival of Puppet Theaters "Chodari Khayol" in Dushanbe today. This is reported in the press release of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Tajikistan.
The performance was staged by puppet students on the basis of excerpts from the books of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov: "Mother Worship - Worship of the Sacred", "Turkmenistan - the Heart of the Great Silk Road" and "Turkmen Alabai".
The festival is aimed at strengthening partnership between representatives of different countries in the sphere of culture and art, revival and development of puppet theater. The international festival of puppet theaters with the participation of groups from Russia, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Iran will last until October 29.
