The National Leader of the Turkmen people met with members of the UAE delegation

On November 25, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Al Mazroui and Minister of Industry and Advanced Technologies, Director General of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company Soltan Ahmed Al Jaber, TDH reports.
During the meeting, the guests conveyed warm words of greetings to Hero Arkadagh from the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Staff Affairs of the UAE Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
As noted, the United Arab Emirates is one of Turkmenistan's important trade and economic partners. At the same time, our countries have mutually beneficial cooperation in the fuel and energy, transportation, communication and financial sectors. In this context, the great contribution of leading UAE companies to the development of the national fuel and energy complex, as well as jointly accumulated long-term positive experience in this area was noted.
As it was emphasized, during the visit of Hero Arkadag to the UAE in February last year, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of energy was signed between the State Concern "Türkmengaz" and the company "ADNOC".
- Within the framework of this document, we confirm the aspiration to further enhance bilateral partnership," the National Leader of the Turkmen people said, inviting the Emirati partners to actively participate in major energy projects implemented in our country. At the same time, Turkmenistan expressed readiness to consider specific proposals in this direction.
Hero Arkadag congratulated the UAE representatives on the success of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
In continuation, Chairman Khalk Maslakhaty noted that gas chemical products produced in Turkmenistan, which occupies a leading position in the world in terms of hydrocarbon resources, are in high demand in the world market, and recently a commercial inflow of natural gas with a daily flow rate of 2 million cubic meters was obtained at the "Galkynyş" gas field.
Speaking about the great interest of the regional states in importing Turkmen gas under the "SWAP" scheme, Hero Arkadag noted the importance of implementing the project of construction of the transnational Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline.
Emphasizing that Turkmenistan has a favorable investment climate and an appropriate legal framework in this direction, the guests reaffirmed their readiness to further enhance mutually beneficial cooperation.
