The National Leader of the Turkmen People meets with the President of Kyrgyzstan

National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov on October 11. It is reported Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty congratulated the Kyrgyz President on the awarding of the jubilee medal "Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna". In continuation of the meeting, the Kyrgyz President presented the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with a collection of poems of Makhtumkuli in the Kyrgyz language.

The mutual support of the countries within the UN framework was noted during the meeting. The parties emphasized that the work of the Intergovernmental Commission plays an important role in the context of trade and economic cooperation. Special attention is paid to the development of partnership in the spheres of energy, transportation, agriculture, industry and culture.
