The National Leader of the Turkmen People congratulated the President of Turkmenistan

The National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on behalf of the Khalk Maslakhaty congratulated the President of Turkmenistan on the occasion of the unanimous adoption of the Resolution "Treaty on a Nuclear-Weapon-Free Zone in Central Asia" at the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly on the initiative of our country, TDH reports.

In his congratulatory message, the Hero-Arcadag noted that further development of cooperation with the United Nations in the name of peace and security is one of the main directions of the foreign policy pursued by the President of Turkmenistan. Turkmenistan under the leadership of Serdar Berdimuhamedov has been consistently implementing a foreign policy course based on the legal status of permanent neutrality, on the principles of peacefulness, good-neighborliness, mutual respect and equal partnership. Peace and security issues occupy an important place in this policy.
