New citizens of Turkmenistan received passports in a solemn ceremony

On September 25, Monday, a solemn ceremony of handing over passports to persons who accepted Turkmen citizenship was held. The passports were handed over at the State Migration Service of the country on the instructions of Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

This event was timed to coincide with Turkmenistan's national holiday - the 32nd anniversary of the country's independence. At the Cabinet meeting on September 22, Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree, according to which 1301 people of 32 nationalities permanently residing on the territory of the country became new citizens of Turkmenistan. The President also signed a decree allowing 265 citizens of 13 foreign countries, who are representatives of 25 nationalities, to permanently reside in the country.

The persons who received citizenship of Turkmenistan thanked the President of Turkmenistan for paying attention to their problems and creating favorable conditions for a happy life in the country.
