В Туркменистане вывели новый сорт тонковолокнистого хлопка. Новой культуре было присвоено наименование – Ýolöten-54. Ученый М. Мередов с коллегами при господдержке сумели добиться высоких результатов в селекции. Они проводили испытания на полях, и в итоге получили более 50 центнеров хлопка с гектара.

The new crop is expected to be planted in the fields of the country next year. For this purpose, the Turkmen Ministry of Agriculture will allocate lands of the Daikhan association "Atchapar"
Previously, breeders bred well-known varieties: Ýolöten-50, Ýolöten-53, Garaşsyzlyk-30. Scientists plan to continue research and conduct experiments in breeding to breed new varieties of cotton with higher yields.
