International media forum to be held in Turkmenistan on the occasion of Independence Day

At the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on August 25, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan M. Mammedova presented a report on the supervised areas for January-July of the current year. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

Mammadova noted that a number of events, briefings, forums, exhibitions, conferences and other events were organized in Turkmenistan during the reporting period, including those dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli. The Russian circus is also on tour in Turkmenistan, and the "Ýaňlan, Diýarym!" contest and the "Çalsana, bagşy!" creative show have been recently finalized.

The Deputy Prime Minister reported to the President on preparations for upcoming events timed to coincide with Turkmenistan's Independence Day. An exhibition of the country's economic achievements, an international media forum "Independent Neutral Turkmenistan in the International Information Space" and a conference "Turkmenistan's Independence: Development Experience and Prospects for International Cooperation" are planned to be held. In addition, awarding of the winners of the contest of the President of Turkmenistan "Türkmeniň Altyn asyry" will take place.
