UN supports Turkmenistan's investment potential

The United Nations actively participated in the Investment Forum of Turkmenistan held in Avaza, supporting inclusive growth, regional connectivity and sustainable investment in the country. Arzuw.news reports with reference to the UN Press Service in Turkmenistan.

UN Resident Coordinator Dmitry Shlapachenko moderated a high-level plenary session on Turkmenistan's investment potential. Within the framework of the forum, Vladimir Valetka, an economist from the UN Office, presented analytical data on energy connectivity and sustainable transport to the participants.

The UN reaffirmed its commitment to support the ongoing reforms in Turkmenistan. The Organization also expressed its readiness to participate in the upcoming regional dialogues.

In particular, UN representatives plan to participate in the SPECA Economic Forum to be held in Ashgabat in November 2025.
