Vienna, July 28 - Arzuw.news. The Youth Chamber Orchestra of Turkmenistan under the direction of Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Rasul Klychev opened the World Orchestra Festival 2025 with a performance in the famous Vienna Town Hall. The Turkmen ensemble was honored to open the prestigious international event as laureates of the 2024 Festival, where the musicians won the gold award in the Chamber Orchestra category. In the performance program, the orchestra performed a work by Franz Schubert, demonstrating the refined technique and expressive skill of the young performers.
The World Orchestra Festival 2025 took place from July 23 to 26 and brought together more than 400 orchestras from all over the world. The event included concerts, competitions and master classes, ending with a gala concert.
The Youth Chamber Orchestra of Turkmenistan made its debut at the festival only last year and quickly established itself as an outstanding participant of this prestigious international event. The continued success of the ensemble reflects the growing recognition of Turkmenistan's rich musical culture and the high level of the country's young performers.
