Port of Turkmenbashi participated in the maritime capacity development program

Turkmenbashi seaport specialists exchange experience with colleagues from Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, July 28 - Arzuw.news. Representatives of the Turkmenbashi International Sea Port took part in the Regional Program on building maritime capacity, which was held in the Malaysian capital from 21 to 25 July. This is reported by Turkmenistan: Golden Age.

The event was organized by the specialists of Klang Port with the support of the Ministry of Transport of Malaysia. The main goal of the program was to strengthen cooperation and exchange of scientific experience in the maritime sphere between the countries of the region.

The program was attended by 29 representatives from 15 states of Central and South Asia, as well as ASEAN member countries. Malaysian experts conducted seminars on key areas of port activities.

The participants studied the peculiarities of port operation planning, management of loading and unloading operations and organization of logistics processes. Port Klang, where the training took place, is one of the ten largest container ports in the world.

Participation of Turkmen specialists in the program is aimed at improving the efficiency of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport and developing the country's maritime infrastructure.
