A section of the Ashgabat-Turkmenabat highway was opened

A solemn event was held in Turkmenistan with the participation of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to mark the opening of the Tedzhen-Mary section of the Ashgabat-Turkmenabat high-speed highway. This was reported by the Internet publication "TurkmenPortal".

The general customer of the project was Türkmen Awtoban CJSC, and its executor was CW Altyn nesil.
The six-lane highway has additional emergency lanes, a ditch and metal guardrails.

The roadbed is made of durable asphalt concrete, synthetic fabric, meshes and other modern materials. The road infrastructure is equipped - parking lots, rest areas, stores, cafes, gas stations are installed. Road supervision is carried out with the help of video surveillance cameras and weather stations.

The next section will stretch from Mary to Turkmenabat. The total length of the road from Ashgabat to Turkmenabat will be 600 kilometers.
