On Wednesday, October 11, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Hakan Fidan, who is in Ashgabat on an official visit. This was reported by the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.
In the course of the conversation, the sides discussed a wide range of issues related to the expansion of political and diplomatic cooperation between the states, further intensification of inter-parliamentary cooperation, strengthening of the legal framework of partnership in various directions. Among the priority vectors of cooperation were foreign trade, energy, transportation, textile and construction industries.
The diplomats noted the successful experience of partnership ties in the cultural and humanitarian direction - in sports, health care, education.
The negotiations resulted in the signing of the Program of Cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Turkey for 2024-2025.
