On October 25-30, 2020, the Aquatics Palace of Kazan (Tatarstan) will host the Russian Swimming Championship. The swimming lanes of the 50-meter swimming pool of the specialized sports complex will become an arena of competitions for the best 700 swimmers of the Russian Federation and other countries. Applications for participation can be submitted by athletes and national federations that are members of the International Aquatics Federation (FINA). Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Latvia, Macedonia have already submitted such applications and will be represented at the Russian championship.
Earlier, the FINA decided that the Championship of Russia is considered a qualification for the standards of participation in the Tokyo Olympics-2021.
