Ashgabat, May 10, /Arzuw NEWS/. The Makhtumkuli National Musical Drama Theater of Turkmenistan held a festive concert titled "Victory. One for All" concert was held. The concert was dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory, with the participation of the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan led by Rasul Klychev and the State Choir of Turkmenistan, led by Haidar Eminov.
The concert featured compositions by D. Shostakovich "Waltz" and "Holy War" by A. Alexandrov. In turn, the concert participants performed famous songs from the repertoires of A. Pakhmutova, B. Mokrousov and A. Novikov: "How Young We Were", "Lonely Harmonny", "Smuglyanka" and many others. Also, songs in Turkmen language by S. Tuyliev's "Elder Brother" and N. Halmamedov's "Remembrance of a Soldier" were performed by People's Artist of Turkmenistan Atageldy Garyagdiyev and Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Vladimir Mkrtumov on the piano.
By the end of the evening, students of the A. S. Pushkin Turkmen-Russian school in the uniform of the war years solemnly presented gifts to the veterans of the Great Patriotic War. The audience gave them a standing ovation. The evening ended with the song "Victory Day" by David Tukhmanov, performed by all participants of the concert.
This evening was the concluding event in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Victory Day, organized by the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan.
