The authorities of Turkmenistan are actively preparing for the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding poet and philosopher Makhtumkuli Fraghi. As part of the jubilee events, a delegation from Turkmenistan visited Germany, where it held talks with European scientists.
According to the publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age", the issues of studying and preserving the rich literary heritage of Makhtumkuli Fraghi were discussed during the visit. European experts highly appreciated the efforts of the Turkmen side to collect and systematize the poet's manuscripts.
In recognition of Makhtumkuli Fraghi's merits, an international conference and presentation of the jubilee collection of his poems translated into German were held in Berlin. The participants of the event noted the great interest of the German-speaking audience in the works of the Turkmen humanist poet.
In addition, an exhibition of books and publications on the life and works of Makhtumkuli Fraghi was held in Berlin. The exhibition demonstrated the scale of work being carried out in Turkmenistan to study and popularize the literary heritage of the great poet.
